Competition for the Helper

Our competitions includes companies that create grab claws and the swifter sweeper because we basically combined the two. The market can be somewhat hard to break into if proper advertisement is not made. I think as long as we showcase that the Handy Helper can extend and can do more then those two products we shall be fine. We will stay one step ahead of the competition by having a research and development team and consulting with our costumers about their opinion of the product. Our product is worth the investment because it will help the disabled to grab things from far away and to clean their house. They shouldn't have to suffer a dirty house because they are hassled with getting the cleaning solution and washcloths. It's also great for cleaning services so that they can clean high up areas without getting on a latter and running the risk of falling. Our product would make peoples' life easier and help businesses to become more efficient.

Paper Doll Project

The point of this project was to learn our way around the program Gimp. I taught us how to cut and past photos onto other backgrounds and how to resize objects. It was helpful because it familiurized us with the program and how to use it. We also learned how to cut and paste clothing onto people to give the illusion that they are actually waearing it.

Product purchasing

People who are disabled will buy our product because it is ideal for reaching high ares. But it is also good for house keepers, maids, and any average Joe. It will also work for clean freaks, those people who just have to clean every area in sight not leaving a speak of dust behind. If someone needs help reaching high up areas or cleaning high areas the Handy Helper should be able to help them. we will sell our product in CVS, Walgreens, and the cleaning supplies isle of any grocery store. We can sell our product using build-boards, commercials, and posters. But, especially posters because they'll be nice to have in doctor's waiting rooms or in hospitals so that people with disabilities know that there is something like this out there.

The Handy Helper's Benefits

Our product will help people with disabilities to be more independent. They will be able to reach for and grab the things they need without having to ask someone for help every time. They'll also be able to clean the area around them so that they can live in cleanliness. They will be able to reach high dusty places and to purify the area around them by getting rid of dust and grime. This independence will give the person more self confidence to do things on their own.

Also this product works for regular people especially for cleaning high up areas. For example my dad has to dangerously stand on a latter to dust one of our lights. But with the Handy Helper my dad wouldn't have to stand so high on a dangerous latter. Instead he would be able to use our product to clean it without risking injury.
